I have been integrating more 3d and AR technology as part of my design workflow. Using NFTs as a medium to explore some new technology was a great way to rehaul and re-visit some older work. Adobe more recently rehauled their 3d design pipeline for designers and I couldn’t wait to explore their new libraries and tools.

Exploration of a piece…

I feel like 3d design as an artistic medium will be very important as more brands and entities explore gamification and XR capabilities.

As part of my brand rehaul, I wanted to evolve a piece I did a few years ago. With the rise of artists using the blockchain to add more exclusivity and ownership to their creations, I decided to release this print as an #NFT collection on Solsea. The piece will be launched as an animation but I will be releasing them as stationary NFTs.

The initial concept of this piece explores the beauty of geometry and how it mirrors the feminine balance of strength and beauty. In the new 3d medium, I got to explore more texture, bolder colors, and lighting. It gave the art more energy and movement. But also, who doesn’t love a cluster of gems!
